The Coldest Corner of The Galaxy

Previously, I featured this slightly altered image of the Boomerang Nebula (you may notice that you seem to be looking through stained glass--that was MY doing, as you can see from Wikipedia's copy of the original filtered image from the Hubble Space Telescope.

But as I read the APOD feature on the Boomerang Nebula...I realize now that it's even cooler than I thought (hehe)...

Upon reading the APOD citation, more carefully I realized that this area may in fact be extragalactic (NOT in our galaxy). I was merely impressed at the data revealing how very-cold this place is...wherever it is in relation to us Earth-bound folks.
